Just Say No Garlic Bread

I have realized something about myself. The low-carb lifestyle? Not really my friend. I made this garlic bread a while back and knowing I was on a "low-carb" type of diet, I decided to skip the spaghetti and dip my bread in the sauce. Now seriously, who am I kidding? Skip the plain boiled noodles in lieu of the bread stuffed full of buttery, cheesy, garlicky goodness? What kind of sense does that make?  None.  None at all.  So if you're on any kind of diet, skip this.

Just Say No Garlic Bread

1 loaf French bread
1/2 cup butter
2-3 cloves minced garlic
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

In a small skillet, melt butter over low heat and add garlic.  Cook over low until garlic is toasty brown.  Remove from heat.

With a serrated knife, slice your bread vertically one inch apart being careful not to slice through the bread.  Turn your bread so the cuts are horizontal and slice vertically one inch apart again being careful not to slice all the way through the bread.

On a foil lined baking sheet, pour garlic butter over sliced bread.  Top with cheese, stuffing cheese between cuts.

Bake in oven 15-20 minutes.

Don't say I didn't warn you....
